Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the Receipts & Consequences site and digital products. Please read them before purchasing or using our materials.

Last updated: August 2026

01Using this site

By browsing this site or buying a product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02What you're buying

Our products are digital files: templates, scripts, checklists, trackers, and folder structures. There is no physical shipment and no ongoing service unless a product says otherwise.

03Your license

When you buy a product, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own personal, household, or internal business purposes.

You may customize and use completed versions of the materials in your own matters and business communications. Ownership of the underlying templates and files does not transfer to you.

You may not: resell, redistribute, or sublicense the materials; publicly share them; post or upload them to template libraries, shared drives, marketplaces, membership libraries, or repositories for others to download; repackage or white-label them; modify them for resale or distribution; sell derivative template packs substantially based on the materials; remove proprietary or copyright notices; or claim the materials or their authorship as your own.

Using the materials inside your own business operations is fine. Selling or distributing the materials themselves is not.

04Ownership and intellectual property

Except for third-party content where identified, the site and the digital product materials remain owned by Receipts & Consequences and/or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

05Acceptable use

Our products are for documenting your own situations honestly. Do not use them to harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or mislead anyone, or to fabricate a record of events that did not happen.

06No advice, no guarantees

Products are educational and organizational only. They are not legal, financial, or medical advice, and no outcome is promised. See the Disclaimer page for detail.

07Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
